Alternating between a relaxing, nurturing touch and a mindful, firm touch, each treatment is customized to address any muscle tissue and ligament distress you may be experiencing. Whether you are stressed, pregnant, injured, or just need a little pampering, our massage therapy can help restore you.
Deep Tissue Massage
By lengthening muscle tissue through the use of slow, deep strokes, deep tissue massage is the most effective modality for bringing the body back into alignment so it can function more efficiently.
The overall goal is for the client to become pain free. The treatments are specified to certain muscle groups. This therapeutic modality is great for ailments such as: arthritis, muscle tears, ligament strains, post-traumatic injuries, and postural deviations. More than one treatment is recommended to obtain optimal results.
Russian Sports Massage
Based on Swedish massage techniques, Russian sports massage helps to relieve fatigued muscles but can also help to develop muscle mass and muscle tone. While this is the best treatment for an athlete, it can also be very relaxing and therapeutic for any body, no matter what physical condition you are in.
Great for relaxation, the Swedish massage technique employs long, connective strokes as well as kneading, friction, vibration, and percussion. These strokes, as well as variations in pressure, help to reduce physical and emotional stress.
Trigger Point Massage
This is one of the best modalities to help with chronic pain and dysfunction such as: TMJ, sciatic pain, and carpal tunnel. It involves a sustained pressure in one specific problem area followed by rapid massage techniques with the goal of flushing out dead, stagnant tissue and oxygenating the tissues to facilitate the healing process.
A holistic method of health care involving pressure at specific points to balance the body’s energy, relieve pain and dysfunction, and promote general health. Excellent for a variety of problems, such as; PMS, headaches, and chronic pain.
A gentle approach to deep relaxation. This light-touch, non-invasive therapy utilizes specific techniques to release restrictions and compressions in the cranial skeletal system. This is an excellent way to treat migraines, head, neck and pelvic pain, as well as chronic stress or emotional problems. Individuals who cannot receive massage therapy for medical reasons can safely receive cranial sacral therapy.

7 Mile Island Massage is fantastic! Nik is always so accommodating and easily schedules appointments to meet my schedule. I love the fact that he comes to my home. It makes the whole experience so relaxing. He always has great music prepared on his iPod and is an extremely skilled therapist. I suffer terrible headaches. Many times, he has come in the evening after I’ve been suffering all day. He knows exactly what to do to relieve the tension. If you’re looking for great massage therapists, you’ve found them with 7 Mile Island Massage!

For fifteen years I have been receiving weekly massages from Nik during the summer months. As a bodyworker and practitioner, I believe that massage is a necessity rather than a luxury. After working out and challenging your body, you need to give it the time to repair itself. Massage is a key element in that process, and Nik is simply the best. His natural talent coupled with his experience and extensive training is a winning combination. You won’t regret making him part of your summer routine. Don’t you deserve it?
—Marggi Vangeli, PMA-CT Pilates Teacher
Nik is the best massage therapist I’ve ever experienced. He is curious as to where you hold your tension and knows the human body very well. You feel wonderfully relaxed and even energized when he’s finished. Nik is talented, mindful of his touch, and is a good listener. When you let him know that something is working and feels great, he stays with it. And if the pressure isn’t quite right, he seems to sense it and make the proper adjustments. He loves what he does and it shows through his work!
—Katherine Swartz, Stone Harbor, NJ
7 Mile Island Massage is awesome. I was having a pretty stressful day at work, and Nik came to my rescue. He set up shop right there in my office and managed to turn the ordinary work space into a serene and relaxing sanctuary. As for the massage, it was great. My aches and pains were soothed and I was left feeling quite refreshed. The man has magic hands!
—Benji Davis, Ocean City, NJ
Let me start this by saying that I have chronic pain due to a spinal fusion and have to live with pain daily. Up until a few months ago, I had little hope that any relief would be possible. After suffering through migraines for several weeks, my doctor suggested that I start massage therapy to relieve some of the tension and hopefully help with the migraines. Nik was professional from the outset and took the time to learn about my physical challenges and pain before setting a course of therapy. After two weeks, the migraines started to go away. After a month of weekly sessions, the migraines are gone for good (knock on wood). I get a weekly hour and a half massage and each week, Nik makes sure that he continues the progress that we have made in past areas and takes on a new challenge. I am now able to do more than merely exist and finally have some normalcy back in my life. While I will never be pain free, Nik has once again allowed me to be able to enjoy life.
—Jerry McConway, Sea Isle City, NJ
I’ve been under the healing hands of many massage practitioners and can say without reservation that Nik is the best.
—Brian Antczak, Ocean City, NJ
A truly thoughtful and caring gift that anyone would welcome
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make the most of my 7 Mile Island massage experience?
Before the arrival of our therapists, we suggest securing a calm and quiet spot in your home for your massage. Alert family members of your appointment and your need for privacy. Our therapist will need space for the massage table and room to maneuver around the table (ideally at least 5×10 feet). We recommend setting aside your phone and any other distractions for the duration of your massage. After your treatment, make an extra effort to keep hydrated as this will help to flush out the toxins released during your massage. Keep your muscles warm and think relaxing thoughts about your next massage!
What do I wear?
Dress comfortably. We suggest a robe or a wrap and a pair of slippers. During all treatments your body will be fully draped except for the area being worked on in order to protect your modesty.
What massage oil/lotion do you use?
We bring our massage lotion to you. We opt for a lotion rather than an oil so you won’t feel greasy after your massage, and you won’t have to worry about oil transferring stains on your clothes. Our lotion is a hypoallergenic sensitive skin formula which contains no alcohol, mineral oil or strong fragrances, and it’s paraben and cruelty free too!
What is your cancellation policy?
We appreciate your understanding and co-operation of our 24 hour Cancellation Policy. If you have booked a treatment(s) and need to cancel or make any changes to your booking(s), you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at full value. For group bookings of three or more massages, a 50% nonrefundable deposit by credit card is required and cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance.
Do you have a location I can come to?
We are working on that! Stay tuned.
